ISO certification is an internationally recognised premium standard for businesses to reach, so they can deliver the most for themselves, their team members and, most importantly, their customers. Often, to reach this standard, it will require businesses to make changes to processes and systems, something that can be time-consuming and costly to implement.
However, these are small prices to pay in the pursuit of excellence, which is why we are so proud to announce we are now triple ISO accredited – ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001!
Quality of product and service
ISO 9001 is focused on quality management standards, and is the same system used by over a million business globally today. It assesses the needs of our Stonegate customers and delivers a system of continual improvement. We are driven by a desire to provide the absolute best for every one of our customers. This accreditation helps us to meet the needs of our customers in terms of both the product they receive and the service by which it is delivered. This then helps us make cost saving, become more efficient and be more consistent in our product and service offerings.
ISO 14001 looks at the requirements for an environmental management system within a business. As we all know, sustainability and environmental responsibility are such vital areas that need to be addressed. Not just for ESG obligations but fundamentally to look after the welfare and future for ourselves, our employees and beyond. This accreditation has allowed Stonegate to improve our environmental performance by allowing us to manage our use of resources more efficiently and also help to reduce our waste.
Staying safe and happy
ISO 45001 is the standard for occupational health and safety management. At Stonegate, we wouldn’t be anything without our team – they are the lifeblood of the company. Therefore, at the forefront of our mind is ensuring that they’re able to work in a happy and safe environment. With a new 42,500 square foot facility allowing us ever-growing stock holding and improved logistics management, keeping our workers and anyone who visits safe on site is a paramount concern. The accreditation reduces the likelihood of accident and potential breaches of legislation, while also making us more efficient.
Reaching these accreditations was the result of years of hard work from our Operations team, significant investment from the company and full buy-in from each and every Stonegate employee.
